Primary care providers occassionally order lab work for patients, which can often be a critical part of an annual checkup or to help properly diagnose or manage a health issue.
Primary Care Associates of Appleton’s comprehensive, in-house laboratory provides one-stop service for busy patients, who can see their physician and complete their lab work all in one visit.
90 Unique Lab Tests
PCAA performs approximately 600,000 laboratory tests each year, with 90 unique lab tests available in-house. Because of this extensive test menu, about 90% of our laboratory testing volume can be processed on-site, offering convenience and prompt results for both our patients and providers.
When specialty testing is needed, samples are sent to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center-Neenah for additional analysis.
We Are a COLA-Accredited Lab
Our on-site laboratory is certified under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and accredited by COLA, reflecting our commitment to accuracy, safety, and high standards in diagnostic testing.
CLIA certification means our laboratory meets federal requirements for quality, staff qualifications, testing procedures, and ongoing quality assurance. In addition, COLA accreditation provides an extra level of oversight through regular inspections, education, and continuous improvement programs designed specifically for physician office laboratories.
