As a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard Medical Corps, Dr. Werner spent time in Iraq providing medical care to coalition medical personnel as well as Iraqi nationals. The opportunity to serve our country and provide care to others in this environment solidified his values of service, community, leadership, and teamwork.
Dr. Werner is married with two daughters. He is an avid Wisconsin Badgers fan, and enjoys traveling, reading, golfing, and watching his daughters swim and play soccer.
