Breastfeeding is the best nourishment possible for a newborn, and Primary Care Associates of Appleton’s “Breastfeeding Champions” are here to provide you with guidance and support.
Our Breastfeeding Champions can help with basic breastfeeding issues and questions, both before and after delivery.
How We Help
This select group of specially-trained staff can assist with a variety of breastfeeding issues and questions, including:
- General breastfeeding tips
- Evaluation of latch and positioning
- Breast pump use and troubleshooting
- Infant weight checks
- Tips for returning to work
- Answers to your breastfeeding questions
Insurance Coverage & Scheduling
There is a cost for the visit in instances when your Breastfeeding Champion recommends an in-clinic appointment, which may be covered by insurance. We recommend contacting your health insurance provider, and refer to diagnosis code Z39.1 to verify your policy’s coverage amount.
