Tara Frerks

There are many roles as a family physician including coach, confidante, counselor, cheerleader, caregiver, collaborator, and consultant, but “the experience of being valued is the beginning of healing.” Throughout her medical career and volunteering experiences, Dr. Frerks has embraced this philosophy of caring as she builds respectful relationships with patients. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Frerks has many interests and hobbies. She participates in volleyball leagues and enjoys snowshoeing. Her hobbies include gardening, baking, chronicling life reviews, challenging word and logic puzzles, and finding the perfect greeting card!
