Vaccines are among the most important medical tools at our disposal to protect ourselves, our children and our community. They are safe, effective, and readily available at Primary Care Associates of Appleton. Immunizations can help to prevent the spread of serious diseases and viruses such as the mumps, the measles and whooping cough. Thanks to vaccines, we have also been able to eliminate diseases such as smallpox and polio. Getting immunized is much easier and much more cost-effective to prevent diseases than it is to treat them. Certain vaccines only need to be given once, but some require boosters to maintain their successful immunization. 

Immunizing your child against vaccine-preventable diseases can save your family time and money, but most importantly, it could save your child’s life and the lives of others who may be unable to receive vaccinations. Our providers can explain the benefits of vaccinations, and get you or your child on the appropriate immunization schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). We follow the ACIP immunization schedule, and can help you and your family get the right vaccinations you need, at the right time.
