CT
A computed tomography (CT) scan uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body. A CT scan produces images that can be recreated in different angles to help detect conditions which would otherwise not show on a conventional x-ray. A CT scan can be used to study the head, chest, pelvis, or an arm or leg, and to take pictures of body organs, such as the liver, pancreas, intestines, kidneys, bladder, adrenal glands, lungs, and heart.
All radiologic exams are read by a licensed Radiologist on-site. The CT department of
Primary Care Associates of Appleton
is accredited by the American College of Radiology.
